First of all a reminder of the date of the Show - Saturday 13th June 2009

We have put together an exciting range of entertainments & attractions that offer something for all the family. Just turn to our Entertainments page for full details.

As far as animals are concerned we believe we really are upholding traditions. You will find cattle, horses, sheep, dogs & many more wide & varied type of animal.

Local Crafts, Handicrafts, are also very well catered. For the younger children we have a wide range of rides & attractions.

There will be a wide range of Trade Stands for those who like to do a bit of shopping. We choose these carefully to ensure we have a good spread to satisfy everybody.

Over recent years we have looked at a number of ways to make the Show even more affordable.  In the run up to the Show advance tickets can be purchased at a number of local outlets which enable a family of four (2 Adults/2 Children) to attend for as little as £14. We also offer a free bus service from Honley on the day.

We see ourselves as very much part of the local community & you may be interested to here about a number of initiatives we have in place.

Our nominated charity for this year is the Laura Crane Trust & we are working closely with them in the run up to the Show. Throughout the year we have contributed to a number of local community projects with particular focus on youngsters. These include - sponsoring school trips & school gardens to promote awareness of the countryside, supporting charities to provide horse riding facilities for youngsters & supporting youth projects in the Honley area.

We believe this years Show will be as good as ever & we look forward to seeing you on the day.
